Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Q: Do I need an appointment for an estimate?

A: No!  You can stop in for an estimate anytime during our normal business hours. (Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm) If you question whether your car should be driven or not, don’t attempt to drive your vehicle! Call us immediately!

Q: Do I have to arrange a rental?
A: No, Sar’s Body Shop can arrange a rental for you through Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Q: Do I have to take my vehicle to be repaired where my insurance tells me to go?
A: No, you have the right to take your vehicle to be repaired at the shop of your choice! Your insurance company may suggest a repair provider, but ultimately it’s your choice, after all it's your vehicle! Also, you are NOT required to get multiple estimates! The insurer has to reach an agreed figure with the shop of your choice!

Q: If my vehicle is not drivable or at a tow yard how do I get my car to Sar’s Body Shop?
A: Simply call Sar's and we will make the arrangements for you. Sar's Body Shop will pay for any current charges and transport your vehicle to our facility. The charges will then be included in the estimate and submitted to the responsible insurance company.

Q: Will it take long for the repairs to be made to my vehicle?
A: No! Sars’s will provide an estimated completion date, provided there are no supplements. In the case of any additional damage found you as the customer will immediately be informed and a new promise date will be issued

Q: In the case of any other damages found during the repair process, will I have any out of pocket expense?
A: No! Sar's will work with the insurance provider paying for the repairs on your vehicle to ensure proper payment is issued for the repairs provided (you should never have to pay any more than your insurance deductible) and if you are not at fault you should not have to pay anything. The repairs should be paid in full by the providing insurance company!

Q: How long will my repairs last to my vehicle?
A: Your repairs to your vehicle are guaranteed by Sar’s for as long as you own or lease your vehicle!

Q: What is a deductible?

The deductible is the amount you must pay toward a claim before your insurance begins to pay. For example, if you have a $1,500 claim and your policy has a $500 deductible, you will pay the $500 and your insurance will pay $1,000. If you have any questions please contact your insurance agent and they can help you.

Q: Who do I pay my deductible to?

The deductible is paid to Sar's Body Shop in the form of cash, check or credit card when the vehicle is picked up. The deductible must be paid in full before the vehicle is released.
